A Heartfelt Thank You: At the Veterans Association, we are continuously reminded of the power of community, and this Christmas, that spirit has shone brighter than ever.
The Isle of Thanet Sunrise Rotary Club, alongside the fantastic team at Archer Brothers, recently held a fundraising event in support of our work. Thanks to their generosity and dedication, an incredible £510 was raised to help support our veterans. This contribution will go directly towards the vital services, resources and community support that many of our veterans rely on throughout the year.
But their kindness didn’t stop there.
For another year running, the Isle of Thanet Sunrise Rotary Club have also donated a collection of beautifully prepared Christmas hampers for our veterans. These hampers provide not just festive treats, but comfort, dignity and a sense of being remembered at a time of year that can be difficult for many.
During their visit to our Community Hub, members of the Rotary Club personally delivered the cheque and hampers, creating a wonderful moment of connection between their team and ours. The room was filled with smiles, warm conversations, and the shared understanding that community can make a profound difference.
